Chembe District joined the rest of the world in Commemorating World Water Day which is annually held on 22nd March to give highlights on the importance of fresh water.
The day is used to advocate for the sustainable management of fresh water resources and the need to have access to clean water and sanitation.
This year’s theme focused on “Water for Peace” that will show critical roles water plays in the stability and property within the society.
A Sensitization Programme for this years The World Water Day Commemorations was held at Chembe Primary and Secondary Schools.
