Chembe Town Council extends its heartfelt condolences to the Ngoni Royal Establishment, the Ngoni people, and the bereaved family on the passing of His Majesty
Chembe District was formally established in 2012, following a presidential declaration by His Excellency the late President Michael Chilufya Sata. Carved out of Mansa District in Zambia's Luapula Province, it now operates as a distinct administrative entity.
The district comprises a single constituency, Chembe Constituency, and is divided into eight wards, each represented by an elected councillor. The full Council consists of eleven members: the eight ward councillors, the Council Chairperson, and two respected traditional leaders, Chief Kalasa Lukangaba and Chief Kasoma Lwela. Readmore
